Description
The WG602 54 Mbps Wireless Access Point from NETGEAR provides wireless networking with support for both IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11g standards. While supporting the existing 802.11b network, the access point allows you to add new clients based on the 802.11g standard at up to 54 Mbps. Network users can share a broadband Internet connection, access email, download large files, video-conference, and distribute and play digital images, videos and MP3 files. Simply plug a PCI Adapter or Wireless PC Card into each computer you want to connect, and start sharing at high speeds of up to 54 Mbps. The access point enhances network security by utilizing MAC address authentication which ensures that only authorized users can access the network. And with up to 128-bit WEP encryption, you can be rest assured that your wireless network communications are private. Extend connectivity to a wired or wireless network for expanded bandwidth with the WG602 54 Mbps Wireless Access Point.
